Beautiful Nasheed, Mashallah! guys, don't attack me in comments, I have just come to clear some ignorance. Its regarding this Hadith: "If there would be a prophet after me then it would be Umar R.A." This is a fabricated Hadith. Yes it is in tirmidhi, but it is not accepted by the vast majority of scholars. I am not saying that Omar was not a great man, but this statement doesn't stand on a number of points. 1. As stated in the Hadith AND supported by the Quran, Abu Bakr was the best after Muhammad SAW. Prophets are of the highest of stations, so Omar could not be a prophet if there is someone of higher station than him around. 2. There is no speculation about who could be a prophet or who is worthy of being one- someone is either a prophet or they are not. There is no inbetween. Muhammad SAW was the last prophet and a statement like this, if it was truly said by the Prophet SAW would cause incredible fitnah. Also, if this was true, Omar would have been Caliph after our Prophet's passing. 3. Omar was not perfect. He was far greater than any man alive today, but he was not of the perfection befitting a prophet. He was not born with a love for Islam, and hated Islam when it first came. This is not possible for a Prophet. They are completely sinless and can never commit shirk, which Omar did before his conversion. 4. To the Shi'as here. Ali doesn't even come into the equation. All of the above statements prove that. Hazrat Ali RA, The Lion of Allah, would be disgusted at how you curse some of his closest companions, Omar, Abu Bakr, and Uthmaan. yes they disagreed on a few points, but the point still stands that all of them were promised Jannah, and by cursing any of them, you boot yourself out of Jannah. Be wary of your speech, brothers and sisters.
